A day in Nuremberg

Panorama view from the castle

We had not been to Nuremberg before, although it is only two hours drive to the north- east from Stuttgart and it is straight on the way to Berlin, where we already visited

several times. So, now we had a chance to do two things at once: 1. visiting Nuremberg and 2. visiting Wolfgang, Rainer’s old friend from College-times, and Nadine, Wolgang’s wife- to-be (their wedding will take place in summer). Actually, both seemed to be the best tour guides Nuremberg can possibly offer, from whom we

learnt a lot about Nuremberg’s history - really interesting. The city is definitely worth visiting!
Lucky enough, most

part of the city survived the  World War II almost intact.
